About

I make complicated things run.

Senior business systems analyst. Operator. Builder. The thread through all of it: taking something tangled and giving it a structure people can trust.

My whole career is one question asked in different rooms: how do you make this run better?

I grew up in a family where money, saving, and planning were ordinary dinner-table conversation. My grandfather was an accountant; my father was deliberate about investing and building assets; my sister works in financial portfolios today. Stewardship wasn't a lesson in my house — it was the background hum. It shaped how I see things: not as chaos, but as a system waiting to be organized.

The instinct showed up early. Before the enterprise work, I spent my first years in operations coordination, call-center support, and payment-gateway tech support — coordinating vendors, analyzing traffic and conversion, writing the scripts and instructions that kept things consistent. Different rooms, same question: how do you make this run better?

The work

Professionally, I provide governance oversight and operational support for a $200M+ IT capital portfolio at a Pacific Northwest energy utility. My days are spent keeping large, regulated numbers accurate and accountable — capital reporting, accruals, work orders, reconciliation support, and the governance controls around them — and translating between finance, procurement, project management, and IT so everyone works from the same facts. Before this, I spent a decade as an operations manager leading teams across three sites in a highly regulated healthcare environment.

Beyond the day job

I'm a real estate investor through a family LLC — renovation planning, contractor coordination, and long-term asset stewardship. And I build things of my own: House of Jyo (systems-based digital products) and Rainier Country (a Pacific Northwest lifestyle brand), both in active development, with early sales at community markets. I use AI as a working partner across all of it — to organize ideas, draft plans, and turn scattered intentions into something executable.

"Every system I build points at the same goal — clarity now, and freedom later."

Why I build systems

I'm a solo mom, and that reframes the math. I want a life where good structure does the heavy lifting, and where my daughter inherits not just resources but the way of thinking that creates them. Take complexity. Make it clear. Make it last.

Let's build

Something complex that needs to become clear?
